Alexandra Margo Sholler, known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ, and singer. Allison Cara Tolman has been an actor for more than twenty years. After 2009, Tolman moved into Chicago, Illinois, to learn about performance with The Second City Training Center. Tolman made her debut in Fargo which is a black comedy crime drama that airs on FX. Fargo was based upon the Coen Brothers' film with the same title. It featured Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman alongside Bob Odenkirk. Tolman received praise for her performance as Minnesota Police Officer Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair saying that she "calmly and assuredly stole the entire performance". Tolman won an Critics' Choice Television Award for her performance in the category Best Supporting Actress in the category of Films/Miniseries. Additionally, her nominations for Best Actress were received at the Emmy Awards as well as the Golden Globes. In the same season, the news also announced Tolman will be playing a double guest role on The Mindy Project playing Abby Berman, a romance writer. In 2015, her supporting character was on Michael Dougherty's film, horror-film Krampus. Tolman was a star who made an iconic performance in Fargo and Fargo, opted out of the roles of wives, mothers, and the best friends to pursue an acting opportunity that was distinctive. Tolman was cast in ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The series ended in the middle of a year. Tolman, who is a Twitter user, said that she earned "pretty impressive" results for her role in the ABC drama Emergence. It premiered in September, but was pulled after just one season that ended on May 21, 2020. Her guest appearances on NBC Good Girls were also cited as a source.
